On Saturday we were given the terrible news that tumors had spread into Deebo’s lungs. He was only breathing at 20% of his capacity and it was causing his heart to beat double time. This could have caused him to suffocate from lack of oxygen at any time. We had a special last day with him. We made him a filet for dinner, he got a peanut butter filled kong, and rotisserie chicken. We had a picnic with him on Sunday and he got to say bye to his Grandma and auntie. We got his paw print so I can get a tattoo to remember him by. We sang with him (one of his favorites) and then at 9PM the vet arrived to send him to the rainbow bridge. It was the absolute hardest decision that I have ever had to make, but I couldn’t let him get to an emergency situation and suffocate or take the chance that he would suffer. He took his last breath surrounded by me, his daddy and his frenchie sister. I haven’t been able to stop crying and I keep looking for him. I’m thankful that I had 10 1/2 incredible years with him. He was the little love of my life and I will miss him forever. He was truely a special boy.
we are so truly sorry to hear of deebo’s passing. you did a very brave thing, and gave him the ultimate gift, by not letting him suffer. the video of you guys singing is priceless! deebo will always be with you, and hopefully, with time, the wonderful memories will start to push the pain aside. love never ends.

Debo, you taught your pawrents to be strong when they needed it most. What a hard, but honorable thing to do.
We are so sad that your time on this earth is over, but you left a paw print on all of our hearts. You will be deeply missed, but some day we will meet again.

So sorry to hear about Deebo and it spreading to his lungs. We had a dog Bonnie who passed from lymphoma even after rounds of chemo because it had spread to her lungs….
