Deebo is a Leonberger/Chow Chow mix. I adopted him from the shelter when he was a fluffly little ball of fur. They thought he would be about 50-60 pounds full grown but grew to over 100! He was the ringbearer in my wedding. He is the little love of my life. Deebo turned 10 in Novemeber. He had his front leg amputated in January because he had a large cancerous tumor. Last Thursday he had 3 tumors removed. I am waiting for the results of the biopsy.
Welcome Deebo! We look forward to following your three legged adventures… and seeing some photos!
FYI: You can search for Friends by Tripawds username and add them to your widget from the Friends Tab in your blog dashboard.
deebo, nice to meet you…i’m not sure what a leonberger is (i thought at first you were a dog made of cheese, but charon said no, that was something else). sorry to hear about your tumors and amputation..me too, but hopefully there are many, many great days ahead for both of us. how about some pictures…otherwise i might just think of you as the ‘cheese man’…

Angel Jake and Wolfie’s Mom
Hi Deebo and Deebo’s mom
Chow Chows I’m familiar with; not so much Leonberger so I had to look that breed up. Love to see a picture of your little love.
Sorry Deebo’s having more problems. Waiting for the results of the biopsy must be tough. Look forward to an update (and did I mention a pic?)
Sending many positive thoughts your way.
Hey Deebo, you sound like a mighty big, hairy dawg!
Thanks for joining us here. We’re so sorry you got cancer but I know you can kick that nasty disease’s butt. A Leo can do ANYTHING!
What kind of cancer do you have?
Oh duh, you’re waiting for the biopsy report. OK, let us know what they say then.
